MOSCOW, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Five people, including a child, were injured in a drone attack on a residential apartment overnight in the city of Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov said Friday.
Russia's defense ministry said air defense forces intercepted 111 Ukrainian drones, including one in the Moscow region. Earlier Friday morning, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said three drones targeting the capital were shot down.
Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency temporarily restricted flights at two Moscow airports for safety reasons on Friday morning, lifting the restrictions about an hour later.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force said it downed 72 Russian combat drones overnight. ■
